Bicycles can be a vehicle for positive change. By participating in the ride you become part of a cycle of change as you team up with The T and local businesses to make a difference in our community and the air we breathe.
Enjoy the family friendly leisurely ride through downtown Fort Worth then on to the scenic bike path at the Trinity River, through the Fort Worth cultural district and then back to downtown for a total of 8.5 miles. Following your ride, join in the festivities at Sundance Square. Family friendly fun including a kids bike rodeo, Fort Worth Fire Department and Police Department personnel and equipment will be there along with the Fort Worth Police Bike Patrol.
At the event: DFW Clean Cities presents the National AFV Day Odyssey. A nationwide biennial event with the mission of educating the public about alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles and the important role these vehicles play in providing solutions to our nation's growing energy security and environmental issues. Participating partners: Atmos Energy, Central Texas Clean CIties Coalition, City of Fort Worth, Fort Worth ISD, Roush, Railroad Commission of Texas, and The T.
Before the ride, every registered rider gets a riders packet including a 2010 Clean Air Bike Rally T-Shirt and gifts from sponsors (while supplies last.) Registration at event opens at 8:00 a.m.
Riders are required to wear the appropriate bicycle safety gear including a bicycle helmet. The rider waiver must be signed prior to the start of the rally.

Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T)
The T was created as the Fort Worth Transportation Authority, a regional transportation authority of the State of Texas. It provides quality public transportation to meet the mobility needs of Tarrant County and the North Central Texas region. The T annually provides nearly 9 million passenger trips on buses, vanpools and the Trinity Railway Express, which it jointly owns with Dallas Area Rapid Transit. The T is governed by a nine-member board of directors with eight appointed by the Fort Worth City Council and one by Tarrant County Commissioners Court.
